It’s a game of inches. Badgely’s kick was inches from kicking inside and being good. KA’s lateral to Ekeler against Car was inches from being a game winning TD

even if we won tonight the same patterns remain
we need someone who can make in game adjustments
I don’t need a few close wins against shit teams to convince me otherwise
The last few years with Rivers there was no question, play for the season and go out swinging
this season I can’t help but feel different
I hate the idea of tanking or rooting for losses
but every loss gets is closer to a legit OT or OC
trying to justify it in my head
maybe in 2 years I’ll be looking back glad we only won 4 games in 2020
idk
conflicted more now that Justin is so young
maybe the losing is best for the long term
idk
really lost fan hereP1. Block Destruction - Ogbonnia
P2. Shocking Effort - Eboigbe

Improvements made:
a) NO stupid turnovers
b) Didn't hurt self w/ boneheaded penalties
c) Run game has a good backup in JJ
d) Herbert got better.
e) Brandon Facyson (give him more playing time.)
f) Momentum creating play made by offense (Unexpected short pass to Green in the 2nd half)
g) Run defense was more effective (be nice to get JJ and Drue Tranquil back.) Ingram too.

Lynn likes close games...... he thinks if games are close you have a chance to win....he forgets that if games are close the opponents also have a better chance to win...... and close games require perfection or near perfection to win...... as in: minimal penalties, no turnovers, no mistakes, no drops, etc.....
and I agree that its extremely tough being a chargers fan and seeing the team lose over and over again the way it does..... getting beat is one thing, but missing kicks, dropping balls, stupid penalties, stupid decisions like not downing ball in end zone.... etc..... it is brutal.....
most teams would have made that game winning kick..... hard to remember Chargers making a game-winning kick in a long time especially against a good team........

but yes valid, the record is not good
at the same time, there isn’t a viable alternative
TT will be the GM and we should draft offensive linemen, so an inherent risk needs to be taken

The X factor for me is Campen, who I would hope has some input/credentials by nowP1. Block Destruction - Ogbonnia
