Eat Crow - Rivers Led Colts or Chargers - Most Wins

Who wants to make me and others eat crow?

    Chargers at 1-4
    Colts at 3-2

When 2020 season is over....Chargers will have as many or more wins than Colts.

I took that bet but I’m not super confident.
I say they have a great chance at the same amount of wins getting to play the texans twice
in which case you would win that bet
    G-Ro knows.

Colts could well have twice as many wins as Bolts.... ceiling could be as low as five wins,
RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

If we are being honest the colts will have more wins based on the fact that they have probably one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. I would love to have a line like that but since we have a gm that is incapable of drafting halfway decent Oline thats just wishful thinking.

I voted Chargers. I think Jacoby Brissett is going to take over as the Colts' starter at some point this season.

I voted chargers also. It seems like they almost have it figured out. Herbert is getting better every game.

Its ok to root for both.

There's no need to put Rivers down in order to raise the Chargers up

Yeah, I was thinking about the possibility too. It would be interesting. It would give our secondary a golden opportunity for some INTs.

First, I have very little faith in our defense and Gus Bradley.

Second, Justin Herbert is a rookie and this entire season should be all about building him up and making him even better than what he has already shown(which is already as promising as can be).

I could care less about wins and losses at the moment, it's all about seeing the progress and growth of JH and building up the tools around him.

Let the colts have a mediocre season and even make the playoffs because we know once they are there, they aren't going anywhere with PR at the helm. Been there, done that.

Lastly, patience is a virtue. Let's not forget that many Hall of Fame QB's started out their rookie seasons with terrible records. I believe Troy Aikman went 0-11 as a starter his rookie campaign.

All the above being said, if JH and the team somehow do pull off a winning record or make the playoffs, that will simply be icing on the cake.

Rivers team will have more wins, but still be held back by Rivers and his seemingly lapse of judgement during games. He tossed that intentional grounding pass while in the endzone without giving it a second thought. I mean, watch the replay. Rivers is in his own little world at times during games. He ditched that pass baaaad with seemingly no awareness. He'll take the penalty yardage. Not in the end zone Philip, my man. I predict the Colts do better tho, Rivers or not.
