This game may be a chance to get the running game on track for once this season. The passing game is there. IF the Chargers get the running game going Sunday, they may still hit a brick wall the next game. For a HC who's known for running the ball, ya gotta feel for him. Being given iffy 3rd and 4th round RB's and Ekeler expected to be your powerhouse #1 running back, ya gotta feel for Lynn even more. There's a hint of ineptitude there, not just on the part of the O-line.

Sadly, this appears to be true. Stewart is Lynn's mentor, which makes sense seeing as the HC is having the same coaching results as the ST is.

that would be nice if that was for the 4rth quarter

Give me the threat of more 60 yard passes in the air. That will open things up.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Minshew and Herbert faced each other once in college (2018), with Minshew's WSU Cougars beating Oregon 34-20.

Without going through this whole thread( my apologies- being lazy), what are the chances of Turner and Bulaga playing in 4 days time?

Popper thinks they'll be ready to go:

I think Bulaga and Turner will be back this week. Ingram and Jones in Week 8. Harris and Ekeler later on. I would be shocked if Tranquill comes back this season.
The Chargers take a four-game losing streak into Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

All these questions about Herbert being an introvert....these reporters are dip shits...who the hell cares? Kid is doing just fine...once he gets his rookie season in the NFL under his belt, along with some wins, I bet he will grow into his leadership role just fine...and while he may never be as vocal as some, I'm sure he will be vocal enough...not to mention that many of your smarter, more experienced players are gonna respond much more to hard work, toughness, and performance on the field. In other words, they will respect a guy who walks the walk before he talks the talk...and the younger players will fall in line. So no...you don't have to be Drew Brees or Tom Brady with their rally speeches out there...just be good...and I think Herbert will be just that.
The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB, Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT
