I expected Reed back to return kicks this week - Johnson wasn't real great at it last week.

I think people are intrigued by Reed because he has the size and build of a RB but plays WR - his 4.4 tine in the forty is interesting too.

Interesting scenario for Lynn this week. They have a weak opponent coming off the bye so I wonder if this is his last chance??? Blow it late or lose big to the Jags and maybe it's syonara Anthony??? Or Gus???

      Food for thought.
Hey I live near Atlanta too.

I think Lynn is in a different situation from Quinn in that Lynn is playing a rookie QB so I think the spanni will give him the rest of this year.

Quinn had the vet Ryan and had already fired his OC and DC.

Lynn can fire Bradley at the end of the season and come back for 2021. I can't see the spanni paying 2 coaches at the same time, the new one and the old one but anything is possible i guess

I am a Joe Reed proponent as an offensive weapon.
He had 77 receptions as a senior at UVA.
        His return skills are obvious.
He can be a real weapon on jet-sweep actions, screens, speed outs, slants, and double moves.
Kid possesses really good hands, body control, and contact balance.
Get him the ball in space and watch him go.

It's hard to see how they can keep a versatile player like Reed off the game time roster. There must be something going on that we aren't aware of.

I actually want Reed in some trick RB plays along with jet sweeps and screens. He did appear in college to make something big out of nothing. Reed reminds me of a bigger Percy Harvin.

I read quotes from Lynn saying that the need to replace injured players has left no room for Reed on game day. But I'm still processing that, because Tyron Johnson has been brought up from the PS while Reed is inactive. Johnson has more speed, but other than catch that one scoring bomb v. Tampa he hasn't been that productive. He hasn't shown much as a returner either. So I don't know what to think.

agree.... they should find multiple ways to use him
