I did see their post game comments here in Vegas and Johnson said he knew when he saw MW lined up they were going to throw that fade. MW caught it as he acknowledged but he said he was just trying to seperate the ball from him and he had his arm in there and managed to do it.

Then he said when he saw Parham...the "guy was huge" and figured it was coming again. Same thing, he had his arm in there and said he was too tall for him to reach the ball but was trying to get his hands on the ball after they catch and he was fortunate enough to do that.

I have no problem with those plays and probably would of done the same thing. Id have done it twice with MW but he got injured.

Amazing how all our kickers fail under Stewart and when they go elsewhere, they thrive. Lynn is absolutely the scapegoat for Stewart still being here.

        1. Actually thought, all things considered, especially injuries, we played a damn good game. Taken out of context, it was a "good" loss....but unbelievably hard to swallow when compounded against our other losses this year and last...we made mistakes, the coaches did make some bad management calls towards the end...but the silver lining is we fought our way back in it, and overcame mistakes, muffed punt, and actually ADJUSTED on defense to mitigate that run game...almost had it. Again...

        2. Herbert is unbelievable....I keep waiting for him to have that "rookie" game where he throws for 150 yds and 3 or 4 picks....but instead he looked even better this week. Absolute laser precision at times. Our unbelievable losses this year must be Karma payments for landing this kid...

        3. MW gotta start making those catches...that is what he is for. You win those battles, like he didn't last week, and you hold onto the ball, which he failed to do this week. I like the kid, but 50/50 balls are his specialty, and are on him.

        4. Pipkins is a big disappointment. I thought he should have made strides this year...I thought he looked better last year on the left side.

        5. Kallen Ballage was a pleasant suprise...I like our stable of RBs going into next year...assuming healthy. Think we can safely focus on other areas...

        6. Adderley is still learning in what is arguably his rookie campaign...I'm not sold yet, but I did see him in the mix a bit more...though he still got out of position a few times, and even when he did get there, he missed that easy interception...but I think he is getting a little bit faster, a little bit more decisive.

        7. Our LB corp could use an upgrading...though Tranquil being gone and Murray being a rookie on the learning curve doesn't help...but White is another Emmaneul...hard working team player, but in the end, just average. I'm starting to understand people mocking Parsons to us...

        8. Although I blame the players for not holding onto the ball for those fades, the very last play is an endless clock until the whistle blows...should have put Herbert on the move, letting a reciever beat somebody's coverage or Herbert eventually tuck it and run it in. Didn't like the fade on the very last play.

        9. Can you imagine if we were actually getting our money's worth out of Pouncey, Turner, and Bulaga? How much money we got sitting on the bench there? In a perfect world, those guys should have bought us 2-3 years to seriously overhaul the line...allowing us to continue to add defensive playmakers, and target the oline when the value was there, instead of reaching...which we might be forced to do this year.

        10. Did I mention how awesome Herbert is?....well....I'm saying it again!

The season is almost over. We need 8 straight wins in my estimation, for bonus football...starting next week against Miami...Let's F*%$ing Go!!
JH is awesome. It was a night and day difference between him and Tyrod Taylor yesterday. With JH playing, I have 100% confidence he will go through his progression and make the right decision. With Tyrod, not so much. He does a quick read, takes his eyes off the field, tucks it in and starts scrambling/running.

I so thought Tyrod had that TD
he saw a big defender and over estimated his juke ability before crashing right into him
          almost a great improv play

That was supposed to be Tyrod’s specialty but he looked slow out there. You’re right, it almost worked. I wonder if the coaches called a pass play and it just broke down.

Really, cuz I criticized him in an earlier post for not handling Maxx Crosby well. He did have a holding call on Crosby. If I am wrong, I am glad to be.

I'd like to see MW improve his route running, get more machine like, more like KA. Anyways, that's how I describe the talent VJ and David Boston had...machine like WR's with weight and height and scary route running abilities. MW not quite there yet and is not in that class. He's really only had 2 prior years thus far. He's also been pretty durable after that one injury year.
I think the MW we have right now is the best MW we are going to see, which is pretty decent, albeit not elite. He's never going to be a KA type route runner, MW doesn't have KA's fluidity and ability to juke DBs out of their shoes. Few players have that talent. MW is going to always be what he is now - a WR capable of physically dominating at the point of the catch who will only be wide open in the event of blown coverage, but who you can depend on to catch any ball thrown to him in that situation. I like Mike a lot and want to extend him and make him a part of Herbert's arsenal moving forward. But he's not the best WR of his draft. JuJu Smith Schuster, a 2017 2nd rounder, and Kenny Golladay, a 3rd rounder, have been better, and then there are Copper Kupp and Chris Godwin, also 3rd rounders that year. Interestingly, the two other WRs drafted in the top 10 with MW, Corey Davis, drafted two picks above Mike, and John Ross, two picks after Mike, have mostly been disappointments.

                        Slight correction:

While watching the game, I would have sworn he was responsible for 2 sacks allowed, but you can't really tell live on broadcast TV.

The rest of your post you is just trivial jibberish that you want to use to make excuses. Your points are NOT more valid than mine. We had players out, they had players out and us having players out are the reason you like to use most often as to why we are losing and it isnt the HCs fault. Now you want to analyze WHO is out. Who cares who is out, missing starters is missing starters.

They had 3 of 5 starting OL out and a WR and they scored 31 points again as all our opponents seem to do. You pointed out they had both their pass rushers while we had only one.
Clenin Ferrell sux as a pass rusher. He did get a few pressures yesterday but he has zero sacks for the season which is exactly how many Mel has for the season but Ferrell has played 3 more games than Mel has.

And Telesco did provide Lynn with a quality kicker, Lynn cut him. That kicker is doing just fine since he left us. For that matter, so is Koo. Maybe fire that worthless fuck Stewart (who Lynn hired) instead of blaming it on the holder. The friggin HOLDER!

That said.........i think Bradley is the biggest issue that need to go along with Stewart but Lynn is the HC and he is a bad clock manager and just doesnt seem to be ready to be that HC that gets his team over the hump. Id get rid of our DC first which is the HCs decision and even Norv went that route as he should of with getting rid of Cottrell.
But Lynns lifeline here is getting very short and i wouldnt shed a tear if he were fired.

Seems like a great guy to have on your staff but maybe he should be coaching RBs instead. Maybe Telesco needs to go as well. He has drafted ok but his failures with OL is astounding. Somebody needs to step up in this organization and John Boy probably should take a back seat.
Talk about trivial jibber jabber. Another pot calling me kettle. Keep up the bias as well as the spin. They may have more starters playing but he sucks anyway so it doesn't matter. What an amazing take. The ol but he sucks take to discredit a hole poked in your argument. Nicely done.

If you can't see Chargers are dealing with more impact players on the shelf, I can't help you see this because I don't write eyeglass prescriptions. So maybe some one else can correct your vision.

Look I hope you get what you want and I hope it works out great. But until a change is made I'm 100% behind Lynn.
