    Kaeding..... Massive failure in playoffs.
amazing how that problem existed before the current regime.
Telesco in his own words said he failed to put the quality kicking talent on the roster. He said that. Travis Benjamin was Telesco original idea of kick returner. Not really the most reliable hands and not a tackle breaker.

I posted a couple years ago, trade for Justin Tucker , kicking is too impactful on winning games. Give up a 1st and a 2nd if need be. And of course I got trashed for wanting to spend some draft capital to fix the FG kicking.

Change all the coaches. Then the kickers will start to make the game winning kick in clutch must have moments, punts return will never be muffed again. When the new HC puts Hill out there his hands get sticky, when this staff puts Hill out there his hands go butterfinger. Clearly it's the staff that is causing these humans to make errors. They will be flawless with new coaches.

I'm with you. I finally see the light. Coaches cause human error. And better coaches eliminate it. If we really find the right coach, then every offensive snap is a TD and every defensive snap is a takeaway run back for TD. Simple. Why couldn't I have notice it sooner. The current roster of players, even the back ups are the best in the league by far and should never make any impactful mistakes but this poor coaching is killing their chances and causes them to fumble and miss kicks and drop passes. I'm sure Hill when he muffed the punt immediately thought damn it our coach sucks. I would have caught that if Stewart or Lynn had been fired.

you sure you have any draft capital left after your last couple few suggested trades.... no scared monies left in the till ??

I did see their post game comments here in Vegas and Johnson said he knew when he saw MW lined up they were going to throw that fade. MW caught it as he acknowledged but he said he was just trying to seperate the ball from him and he had his arm in there and managed to do it.

Then he said when he saw Parham...the "guy was huge" and figured it was coming again. Same thing, he had his arm in there and said he was too tall for him to reach the ball but was trying to get his hands on the ball after they catch and he was fortunate enough to do that.

I have no problem with those plays and probably would of done the same thing. Id have done it twice with MW but he got injured.
Parham has 2 catches on the year. With the game on the line, I question throwing a pass to a seldom used XFL TE instead of someone like Allen or Henry with MW out. And since it did not work out, it should be questioned.

Bosa had mentioned that he liked that Herbert could see over the top of linemen.... was that a factor on the two point conversion that he sat out ??

and Herbert's 5 and 7 seven step drops are rapid, not to mention his roll outs rather forceful.... think there is a difference (maker) there.

MW was reasonably efficient, 5 for 7 on targets caught.

passing to Joshua Kelly was a highly efficient endeavor and should continue to be emphasized.

and thank you Jolt as couldn't recall the guys name.... George Stewart is the Ted Cottrell of this staff as Ted could not ever lift himself out of the 32nd ranking as DC.

and could team Tommy John use some help upstairs ?? would DJ be a good VP of Football Ops ??

Yep, agree. A spin move and he probably converts the 2 pointer.

Isaiah Johnson, the raiders CB, is 6’2” w/ 33” arms. Loved him coming out of Houston in 19.
Parham is 6’8”+ w/ 35” arms and an 85” wingspan. He has a big size/length advantage.

Exactly my point. Keenan is as close to automatic as it comes so I'd prefer to go down taking a shot with the guy who gives us the best chance to succeed instead of a guy who averages 1 reception every 4 games. If they stop our best, more credit to them.

Analyzing snap counts, some interesting revelations involving the defense yesterday.

Rookie Kenneth Murray played a season-low 26 snaps (52%) on Sunday. Anthony Lynn said after the game that Murray was taken out because they were having “communication” issues”. In his place, Denzel Perryman played 37 snaps (74%). Kyzir White led all linebackers with 44 snaps (88%).

In a game where the Chargers needed to stop the run, Linval Joseph played 90% of the defensive snaps, the most by a player who didn’t play the entire game. Jerry Tillery was second in snaps for a defensive tackle with 82% of the snaps but he played a bunch at the base end spot in place of Joey Bosa who missed the game with a concussion. He recorded the team’s only sack.

In a game where the team was missing their best pass rusher, the coaching staff decided to use their second-best edge player for just SIX SNAPS. That’s not a joke. Uchenna Nwosu, who is second on the team with 3.5 sacks, saw six snaps the entire game against a Raiders team missing both of their starting offensive tackles. Melvin Ingram played well, but there was almost not pass-rush or disruption at or behind the line of scrimmage. The defense recorded zero tackles-for-loss.

                        Offensive notes of note:

It took Bryan Bulaga just two snaps into the game on Sunday to go out with an injury. Trey Pipkins came in and played the rest of the way. This team seriously, seriously cannot get out of it’s own way when it comes to injuries. When they get a piece back, it usually doesn’t last long. Other times, they get a piece back and then they lose a different one. It’s getting outrageous at this point.

Despite being the team’s leading rusher, Kalen Ballage second for snaps by a running back with 31 (39%) behind Joshua Kelley’s 43 (54%). Ballage finished with 69 rushing yards and a score to go with two catches for 15 yards. Kelley totaled just 28 yards on nine totes but caught all five of his targets for 31 yards.
