San Diego will never get a new stadium. It's not a question of if but when they leave.

I just hope they win a Super Bowl before it happens.

Did somebody even remotely involved with any of this actually have a football-type conversation with Acee? Wow, I'm impressed.

THIS!!!!!! I just don't get why taxpayers should have to fund this stadium...... Especially when we are constantly lectured about the out of this world revenue stream that the stadium, parking, concessions etc... Will bring. If it's such a moneymaker why not own the whole damn enchilada???

The expansion of the Convention Center connected to a multi-purpose stadium makes so much sense:

The hotels support it because it grows their business
Tourism benefits with more conventions and national-level events (Final4, SB, NCAAFB Championship, etc.)
How about restaurants, retailers, real estate demand

Why wouldn't the public want to support a new stadium? After all they seemed to have no problem voting in a White House and it's Keynesian ways...

If those businesses want to pay for a stadium, let them.

Why do you care who funds it? You don't even live here.
