To put up these historic rookie QB numbers during a time when there was a very limited off-season is absolutely remarkable and should not be minimized!!

I couldn't read through this. The first sentence was enough.

We blame Badgley for missing the FG. Of course.

We also blame Lynn for the play calls PRIOR to those missed FGs. The runs up the middle two or three times in a row when they do not work.

We blame Lynn for KEEPING coaches and players in positions because of LOYALTY and not performance (as it should be).

So, not sure the rest of your list. But I do know we always blame the players for sucking on a play.

And we equally blame Lynn for putting them in those positions far too many times.


PS Do you ever blame Lynn for anything? Like, one thing?

You have to read some of the post I'm reading. Lynn is being blamed for Badgely missing kicks by many posters
Blame for other player errors like missing a block or tackle.

That is a narrative that he is being too loyal. That's pure subjective opinion.

And the run up the middle has been a complaint for decades by Chargers fans. That isn't a new complaint exclusive to Lynn.

Lynn gets his shared of blame. He has not pressed the right buttons to get enough wins recently. But I think the roster has some issue. He also is a ,500 coach in his first 4 seasons. And has a rookie QB playing very well.

I just am not scapegoat him in a Team game. But you are free to say it's mostly his fault.

On that missed pass, JH is so used to doing that on the run in a hurry. All he needed to do was set his feet. But the second pass to Johnson... sweet.
