Who was your first "Favorite Charger" as a kid ?

The first one to come to mind is John Jefferson. Man, he was incredible!

JJ made the most acrobatic catches seem routine. I hated seeing him get shipped off to the Frozen Tundra of Green Bay.

I wasn't a Chargers fan as a child. The only Charger I really knew was Lance Alworth, everybody knew who he was. When I became a Chargers fan in 1979, Dan Fouts was my favorite Charger and he will always be my favorite Charger. Though Justin Herbert could change that.

JJ was probably my favorite followed by Fouts. I still believe if I didn't have a dream of the Chargers going to the Super Bowl before they played the Ice Bowl in Cincy they would won that day.

The Chargers didn't exist when I was a kid!
But, my favorite Charger when they were a young team was Alworth.

From that era I also liked Lincoln, Faison, and Speedy a lot.

Dan Fouts...kinda liked the Bolts from afar...but was locked in for life after the famous Miami game...80' or 81' I think...right before we went up and froze in Cincy.
