Stafford has asked to be traded (not joking) just read it and the Lions said they are looking to see if a deal can be made. I guess he does not like what he sees so far of the new coaching staff.
He reminds me of Cousins, a stat machine, but not a winner.
The staff the Lions are putting together appears to be more swagger and talk and leadership than X's and Os? Don't know much about Glenn, but we all know Lynn and Campbell seems more rah-rah than strategist.

Also to be fair to Stafford, during 165 games with the Lions, he’s had a RB rush over 100 yards exactly 11 times. He’s literally carried them to the playoffs with his arm.
Edit: I believe his decision to ask for a trade was before any HC was hired. He’s just done with Detroit.

He’s one tough SOB. I remember his 2009 game against the Browns where he was tackled injuring his shoulder in the fourth. Came back and threw a game winning TD with his other arm dangling. Close to PR heroics.
One thing Campbell stressed in his introductory news conference is making sure his coordinators -- the team officially announced Aaron Glenn as its defensive coordinator Saturday -- can identify and exploit matchup mismatches.
...the absolute last person I think of when talking about a coach to exploit mismatches would be Lynn. He was the ultimate we'll run what I want no matter that we can't do it well guy.

Detroit is in rebuild mode...he doesn't have enough years left in his career to go through that. Some team that's just missing a QB would be better off like New England or New Orleans or anything with New in it...LOL!

Well then it’s a good thing Lynn is now an OC instead, and working under a HC who wants to exploit mismatches.
