Gus Bradley was often criticized for not blitzing or doing it too little. Here are the instances of when the team did blitz during the 2020 season. These are from videos of the game highlights. Go to the parts listed on the instances in the videos.

There's probably more than what the highlights show. I don't know if the people who worked on the video captured all of the instances of when the team blitzed.

Bradley did blitz. He just wasn't doing it to people's liking. Certain things got/are overlooked. The question you should ask is, why was Gus reluctant to blitz? Reluctant to blitz more. Another thing is, do you know what the weakness of the blitz is? The personnel on the defense has every bit as much to do as the play-calling. Sometimes you'll succeed. Sometimes you'll fail.

Don't know about anyone else but I don't see any videos here. Just times of where you want us to see something in a video if there were any lol.

I'm not going to chase this but I think he's saying Gus Blitzed but did not do this well...But then Gus cannot train Mice to Fart with two brand new first rounders and such....even with the players we had I'm sure Staley would have easily had us in top 15 last season instead of 23rd and not an effective 23rd feeling....

The best defense would be one were you get great pressure with 4 without ever blitzing.

Blitzing more does not necessarily translate to more pressure or more sacks. Here are some examples.

Titans blitz 28.7% got 19 sacks

Raiders blitz 23.5% got 21 sacks

Bengals blitz 30.9% got 17 sacks

Chargers 16.3% got 27 sacks and they was with zero from Ingram last year.

Colts blitz 17.1% got 40 sacks

Jets blitz 38.4% got 31 sacks

Cheifs blitz 35.6% got 32 sacks

Rams blitz 27.3% got 53 sacks

It's all over the place in terms of blitzing working well or not because defense is a team thing and match ups matter.

Staley will be aggressive no doubt about it. Think we will be about 10% more blitz rate in a Staley defense than a Gus defense.
        Should be fun to watch.

Dont have to be sacks but if you make teh QBs timing off and he has to scramble and throw early thats a good thing unless it is Lamar or Mahomes.

After reading this criticism of Gus Bradley’s defensive system in Jacksonville, Chargers fans have to be at least a bit concerned about their team’s new Defensive Coordinator.

"Every week, we ran the same defense. We never changed defenses. We never changed plays. What we were running on first down at the beginning of the season we were running on first down at the end of the season. What we were running on second down, third down, same. Nothing ever changed."

The Rams always showed a pressure look with their front looks, but rushed 4. Sending 5 defenders happens, but the Rams will predominately rush only 4. That is their special sauce. Perceived pressure from a 5-man front and pre-snap reads of the secondary, that will shift in-and-out of man and zone coverage, to fool the QB.

Maybe this is what Tranq was referring to about his tweet... “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

                  Wow ! Pretty damning.

But we all saw it first hand during our last playoff game where Brady went to Edelman over and over again and we made no adjustment to stop it

Some here will tell you that Ramsey is not qualified to criticize Gus and Gus was a great coach.

I was fooled into thinking Gus was a sound DC after the road playoff win in Baltimore. Nothing wrong with being ignorant of something. It becomes problematic when we unwittingly become willfully ignorant.
