Just curious if the price was right think we could squeeze a couple of seasons out of him? Looking like he won't be back in Denver.

IN the 43 you could either play Miller at weak DE in place of Ingram (with Bosa continuing to play SDE) or play him at SAM OLB, and then move him over to play DE on passing downs.
If we switch to a 34, then Bosa would line up like a 43 DE (like JJ watt or Bruce Smith) and Miller would be the other edge rusher.
There are lots of schemes that can pull it off, so that is not much of an issue.
The bigger issue is that you would be spending a lot of salary cap space on the edge rushers, and we would still need to find depth. Unlike Ingram, Miller cannot line up inside (except as an occasional change of pace).
As far as how much he would cost, it depends on how we would get him. If he is cut by Denver, then he is a somewhat reasonable $17 mill per year, since we Denver would eat the bonus. But if we have to sign him to a new deal, he is still young enough he will command a high price. I don't think it will be Bosa money, but it would still be close-ish, so an average of $20 mill + per year for several years.
And a lot depends on how much wear and tear he has. Plenty of pass rushers stay effective into their mid 30's, giving Miller some years to go (3 maybe). Smaller OLB bodies give out to the pounding of being beaten up by 330lb OT.
Miller whole game is set up by his speed rush, so once that starts to go, he is a lot easier to handle than a guy like Bosa (or Ingram), so there is an element of risk. But if he can keep his speed, then he has a couple more years of frustrating OT, although like most players, it will probably take him half of next season before he is back to full speed from this season's injury.
These days, college pass rushers are getting a ton more reps and much better coaching then they did years even a few years ago. A rookie might not get a ton of sacks, but they can often be about a step short, and get a ton of pressures, and will cost a ton less, even if they are a very high draft pick.

Hard pass for two reasons
cost and age
Telesco needs to find more Casey Haywards. Players that are undervalued that with new scheme and coaching can excel. The NFL is about players in their mid to late 20's - not early 30.s

I'm sure if Staley is hired, he'd lobby to bring him in since he just coached him last year under Fangio. I'm pretty sure we can squeeze several years out of him, but he probably needs to be motivated with a good team around him that isn't dysfunctional or in a rebuilding stage which thankfully (or presumably) isn't us.

With so many teams in cap trouble, I expect there will be a number of players like Hayward available to fill roster holes and we have the cap space to take advantage of it.
The Rams - well Weddle retired and Clay Matthjews was released -they got much younger this year. YOunger usually means faster and less injury prone. Defense was best in the league.
One of the best Chargers offseasons was Goff, Foley and Godfrey. Foley before the shooting just needed consistent snaps. Thats what I want Telesco to focus on - value in players to fill some holes before the draft.
So Von Miller would get Adam Schefter sending out tweets and players on the team he signs with happy - but it could be fools gold. When there might be a younger less known player that is better at this stage of their career. Those are the guys TT needs to bleeping find!
