I've watched Oregon all year, obviously, and while I think Armstead is a solid prospect I don't think the value is there at #17. He did play most of the season on a bum ankle but he has had a consistency issue most of his career. He is solid against the run and can push the pocket back when the effort is there but at 6'7'' he has issues keeping his pads low enough, part of his consistency issue. He is an athletic freak, starting out as a 2 sport athlete for UO, and will probably post some impressive number at the combine but the tape isn't there to support him being taken that early, this coming from a guy that hopes to see some Ducks in bolts.
