Gary Garrison, the former SDSU Aztec, was my first Charger fav.
My first wife had a crush on him. I used to go to the Chargers Backers lunches. Each month you sat at a table with a different Charger. One month I drew Gary. My wife almost cried when I told her I had lunch with Gary. He was rather quiet but very nice.
It was long ago. I wonder what year that was? My wife would remember, she had a great memory, but she passed away 22 years ago so I can't ask her.
That "athletic intelligence" test is a great move, but I wonder if there is a way to standardize it so that they can test candidates, but not make it one that they can 'test prep' like they do with almost every other drill they do at the combine. My guess is that test is only good for rookies coming in... great that Herbert was good in it, but what does it actually measure?
