Hand work is crucial in the NFL.

A large part of the drill is to improve hand work strength and accuracy.

The potential for "knuckle damage" smashes in to their skulls the concepts of excellent hand work.

This segue put a smile on my face. As an 8 or 9 yr old, my Christmas gift was a record player/8-track combo. I was a fan of the TV show so my 1st album was the Monkey's Greatest Hits.

I happen to be the inventor of "these darn sticks."

They are called "wudSticks" even though made out of plastic.

You will learn to not get your knuckles smashed a second time.

            Intelligent design.

Did you also invent standing in line?

              or...

If you can dodge a stick, you can dodge a tackle.

Wood, since you are the inventor, you might want to consider incorporating them into the next Zumba-like dance weight loss fad: "The Wud-Stick Boogie-Woogie!"

Losing Rayshawn Jenkins is a whole lot like when the Bolts lost Tyrell Williams in free agency to the Raiders.

If I'm remembering right, Williams signed a three contract that averaged $11mil per season. I liked Williams, but he wasn't worth keeping at *that* price.

Same thing, really, with Rayshawn Jenkins. The Jags were willing to pay him (significantly) more than it would make sense for the Chargers to. I wish the guy well, but... So long!

I liked Rayshawn a lot for his upside, dude has pop to him, whatever that means. But I always felt like he was close to being good at causing turnovers from that hitting ability

Like everything else at this optimistic point in franchise history, I'll defer to Staley and patiently (anxiously?) remain in waitNsee mode.

Maybe the other edge rusher is on the roster already.

We need to see several of our year 3/4 guys play significant snaps this season. This will show us if they are in our future and if we need to acquire replacements or reinforcements.
Nasir, Tillery, JJones, Kyzir, Pipkins, JJacks, Nwosu, and MikeDub are all on the narrow evaluation block. They need to perform well in their individual roles, show his value to the team, and earn their next contracts (long, short, big, small).
