I think Derwin could play CB easily. I said it a while back he may do some Ramsey stuff. He will be everywhere. But if anyone is going to break Derwins ankles on routes its Keenan. Derwin takes away 7/8/9 routes all day if lined up on a WR. Its the short/intermediate twitchy routes that may give him trouble at his size. I bet he could stay with Tyreek on deep stuff.

You cant not run Derwin like this in camp. But i have a really unhealthy fear about his fragility. Not sure i even want to see more than a couple series of Derwin in Pre.

Me too. I don't even want him practicing. Seems to me it's too risky to have Derwin practicing. As goofy as that may sound.

I'll criticize a fish for not climbing trees if his job is to climb trees.

How good could MW be if he had the same commitment as guys like KA? He'll never be as good a route runneras KA, not built right, but some more improvement would be good over 4 years, no?

Yep...I'd rather have a backup, or even a RB from the committee, take over KR or PR...need to keep Adderley's legs fresh...and keep him safe...

I wonder why. I saw something the other day that he made a 55 yarder. I didn’t know he had the leg so I was surprised to see it.

Agree..... I compare him to Seau as a versatile athlete..... Seau was simply the biggest fastest, most impactful player on Chargers his entire career and even though he could cover receivers or TE's deep down the field, he was far more impactful and scary as an in the box player, where Seau could stuff the run, drop into coverage or leap over the line to quickly sack a QB or just faking a blitze was enough to force QB to throw away the ball the threat was almost greater then the action..... James is similar..... he can play deep safety or CB, BUT much more impact and a threat when he is in box stuffing run, blitzing QB's, or jumping a short pass..... make sure he is in QB's view.....and close enough to scare/worry him..... and if he is staring at James, K9 or Bosa can blind side him.......

and agree too that he needs to practice enough to know the new scheme but no need to risk his health in pre season games.....
