1995 Vet stadium in Philly was my first live game. Holly Robinson Peete sang the national anthem. Jr with a defensive TD. Colemen ran a punt back. The Philly fans booed a kids youth singing group at half time.

Metrodome - Road Game versus Vikings in the 1990s.
Best Road was in KC/Monday Night Football in 2013(?). Charger RB Ryan Mathews fumbled in the rain and Dexter McCluster killed us on special teams. Missouri rain is the worst.

1988 at the Big A. Rams vs Chargers, I met Al Saunders before the game as we got there really early and were watching the players run around and stretch. We were right at the bottom at about the 45 yard line, I was wearing my away Fouts jersey and he walked up to me and my friend, talked to us for about 5 minutes. I was not a fan of his as a coach but he was a class act in person, very nice and thanked us for coming to the away game to watch.
The Chargers went on to beat the Rams in a beat down. Browner had the fumble return that he lateraled to Sammy Seale for a 75 yard TD. Anthony Miller has a KO return for a TD and Rod Bernstein (still as a TE had a big 59 yard catch down to the 2 yard line. It was an epic game for sure in a bad season.

I don't remember the actual date, but probably in the early 70's for a Chargers-Rams preseason game. We sat near the score board, and the band. I think Jim Hill was still playing for the Chargers then, so that would probably be in 1971.

My first live game was 8/6/1960. Against the New York Titans in the coliseum, the very first preseason game they ever played. I remember Paul Lowe running wild, instant fan. I grew up in Orange county (before it was fashionable) I had just gotten my drivers license at 16. The Chargers were training at Chapman Collage so I cruised down to see a practice and somebody was handing out free tickets. Free certainly worked for me even though the seats were way up high somewhere around the goal line. Very fun night for a country kid from Orange County.

Damn we got some old timers in here lmao.
Somewhere in the 70's.....76, 77, or 78. It was against Miami when Griese was their QB. Not sure which year it was. I was in High School or just before.
