Look out SD! The Shark is coming home for a much needed vacation. Haven't had one in 5 years. We fly out May 23 and stay until the following Saturday May 30. There will be over-indulgence in Lolita's and In-N-Out, Golf and some simple lounging with a nice Kentucky Bourbon. If y'all are down in the Chula Vista keep an eye out.
OT I'm coming home

You could have posted this in the general forum. We are dead anyways. Its the offseason.
Welcome home bro. For seafood my top places are Blue Point or Top of the Market in Downtown. Point Loma Seafoods for quick lunches. Cant go wrong with any of the Brigantines.

Last time I was out here we did a flight of local brews to test some out and there were a couple that were really outstanding. Wasn't down on the others. Unfortunately, i don't remember which were the good and the bad since we kind of drank a lot that night LOL
I'll try some out again today and give you my feedback.

Out in Santee there is some great brewing going on. There is BNS Brewing and Distilling, Twisted Manzanita ales and my fave:

Thanks for all the feed back guys. My brother says there's a couple of brewery's in his area (Scripps Ranch), so we'll try those and I'll look up the other suggestions here. I do like darks Hoarse, but I find them to be a bit heavy and can only drink 1. I'm more of an IPA guy, I like the bite of hops, but I would never pass up a good Heffeweisen. Going out to my fav local brewery today for a club members party as they are rolling out there new Pils. I look forward to trying that.
