I can't imagine TT, with his job on the line, would trade draft assets to move up to choose a TE.
An OT or Edge, or possibly a shutdown corner, maybe.

If TT is trading up for anybody - it should be OT. Kyle Pitts would cost way too much
Stay the course - maybe trade down and get more mid-round picks. Chargers still need a young OT (there is not an OT out there that is long term); they will need a CB as Harris is a FA and anybody they sign is a top gap unless its Adoree but even that is a risk at this time and they still need more Front 7 Edge presence.

Mike Williams is a few victory briskets away from being able to play TE

I actually think MW would make a good TE and may be better next year running the TE routes. His height and catching ability are similar to Kyle Pitts. He’s not one to get much separation on the outside anyway. We could keep him on the field while using our other faster receivers in the outside spots.

Most of the highlights I saw of Pitts he was in the slot. Not even blocking. I think a dual threat TE is better like HH. Maybe I didn’t watch enough.

When that TE has the chance to be the next Travis Kelce or Rob Gronkowsi I would do that trade in a heart beat, As long as we aren't giving up a whole lot. Just FYI I'm usually against us trading picks but sometimes it's necessary.

I'm with you Chris, in that I think he's going to be a really good player.
Not sure I trust TT moving up, though. Plus, we lack depth EVERYWHERE so we need as many picks as possible to at least backfill Teams.
