Some young scout: "Mr Telesco here's your expresso. Oh if you guys want a really fast white guy from Iowa check out Nick Niemann."
TT: okay whatever. "make the call we're picking Norm Nickmann or whatever his name is."

I like him because (I think) Iowa asks their LB to key the backfield instead of the OL. You tend to see Iowa LB biting on backfield action way more than a lot of other teams. And sometimes it bites them. You see Niemann and their other LB 44, and they bit on misdirection and weird backfield actions a lot.
NFL defenses just key the OL. You really don't need to know what the backfield is doing so much, so long as you read the blocking. The blocking will tell you where the ball is going.
He also flashes stretches were he really seem to know what the O is doing. I think a lot of guys like him, they start to get more time studying film both in terms of how well they do it (more experience) and more film study per week, can really step up their game and look more instinctive, and make a lot more plays.
Anyway, I think he is as good as some of the LB we have, can play well on ST... very little risk to this pick.
