Didn’t watch the game. Didn’t care. Read Herbert is hurt. This hopefully will prevent him from ever playing another game for Staley and he won’t keep getting beat up behind that line. The Chargers stand no chance without him. So Staley gets fired and we get a good draft pick. I have loved the Chargers for more than 45 years. I won’t watch them as long as Staley is the coach. He has made the team unwatchable.
TGLike, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

I don't think firing a HC prior to the end of the year accomplishes anything. Maybe, if you want to check out Moore as a interm HC, but even then, how much can someone change in a couple of weeks in the middle of a season?
Ficken only has 3 years of being an NFL coach. He has been an assistant for a number of years, but an assistant (position/ST coach) is not necessarily the same thing. If the knock is against hiring 1 or 2-year coordinators because they lack expereince, then it seems like promoting Ficken now might be more of the same. If no one else is saying it, that is at least my thinking. Besides, we will probably screw up the next HC hire, and in another 3 or 4 years, Ficken will have more experience, and can take over then.
