Does he look like a future all pro?

He isn’t Q. Nelson but he’s a top 50 prospect. Ekwonu is a college OLT that will kick inside to OG because of athleticism and flexibility/bend issues.

2022 OT I like for us this early in the process…..

Nicholas Petit-Frere, Trevor Penning, Myron Cunningham, Abraham Lucas, Thayer Munford, Obinna Eze.

I watched some of Eze’s games from last year when he was playing for Memphis and wasn’t impressed at all. He has the length but struggled with mobility against a mediocre opponent. Hopefully he’s made some strides since then.

What do you think about Charles Cross, Jaxson Kirkland, Nick Broeker, and Sean Rhyan?

Rhyan’s a guy who might hafta kick inside, but he looked excellent in the run game against LSU.

Heres my full list of potential OTs in 2022:

        Evan Neal, BAMA
        Trevor Penning, NIU
        Charles Cross, MISS ST
        Nicholas Petit-Frere, OHIO ST
        Jaxson Kirkland, UW
        Daniel Faalele, MINN
        Myron Cunningham, ARK
        Nick Broeker, OLE MISS
        Ikem Ekwonu, NCST
        Peter Skoronski, NORTHWESTERN
        Jordan McFadden, CLEMSON
        Dylan Parham, MEMPHIS
        Josh Ezeudu, UNC
        Sean Rhyan , UCLA
        Rasheed Walker, PSU
        Zion Nelson, Miami
        Logan Brown, WISC
        Calvin Ashley, AUB
        Obinna Eze, TCU
        Abraham Lucas, WSU
        Braxton Jones, S. Utah
        Dontae Bull, Fresno St.
        Kellen Diesch, ASU
        Cordell Volson, NDSU
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Still got my eye on Faalele. Maybe in the 2nd.

Had a good game against OHST. He needs to stay healthy and show more flexibility/bend protecting the arc. He is at about 370# for this season. He will continue to reshape his body in the NFL. I’ll estimate his playing weight around 350#-360# with about 30% more reduction in body fat when he becomes a starter in year 2.

              C. Cross is a RSO so don’t think he’ll come out this year but he would be a potential top 50 prospect if he does. Think he’ll be a top 15-20 guy in 2023.
              S. Rhyan is an OG and a good one.
Kirkland and Broeker are currently day 3 guys.

Yep, I would try to trade up into the top of the 2nd if I could get Faalele.

If one of the top edges fall that would be my pick, I absolutely love Leal

Probably going top 15 so more than likely not in our draft range.

                      2021 vs. UMN

That LT (#70) looked absolutely Pip-like trying to block Harrison. And if u want a real laugh, at 3:18, they brought in the TE (#88) to chip Harrison to give the LT some help...TE barely touches Harrison before taking off for his route...wow, that was helpful...

Harrison is good but I don’t think he’s the next Chase Young or Bosa. I like his motor tho.

Faalele missed a lot of run blocks but he does an outstanding job of staying in front of his man in pass pro. Just so damn big.

Really bummed about Ibrahim. He was gonna have a monster year. Not sure if his game translates to the next level but he’s a hell of a college player.

I think Isaiah Likely looks like a nice player. Plays big and can go downfield. And I wouldn’t mind a QB2 comp between Easton Stick and Grayson McCall. He’s got a pretty solid arm and he’s an athlete.

If I were to go to college again, Coastal Carolina would be tempting. Looks like a blast—East Bound & Down vibes.
