What I meant was that the Chargers front office will still have a job to do, that is, continue to do what they think is in the best interest of putting forth a winning team and pursuing a championship. Doesn't matter if they're in LA, SD or if you or I continue to be fans or not.

The decision hasn't been made. TT has reportedly said Rivers is not on the market. I'm of the belief that Rivers won't be traded, not shouldn't. It's not gonna happen.

Same here. I'll probably watch a MNF game here and there, but that's about it. There are a few of us (TTK, KNSD, myself, for sure) that will bid 'Sayonara' to the Chargers if they move. And speaking for myself, it really doesn't matter where; LA or Timbuktu (or anywhere in between). Makes no difference.

If they become the Tijuana Cargadores, I'll still follow them.

Whatever Telesco and McCoy decides to do is always Golden Jizz. any criticism or questioning of their moves is automatically hater/anti territory. but it's fairly apparent in this thread, If they do decide to trade Rivers that they don't have faith in McCoy or Telesco because they think this is a 2-14 team without Rivers.

Shouldn't the same people that have been saying all these years that both McCoy and Telesco knows what is best for the team and it is putting this team in the right direction, why are they suddenly going to be up in arms if MM/TT decides it is in the Chargers best interest to not have Rivers?

I think anybody can be traded for the right price. I also don't see Rivers being traded this season. I have a lot of faith in TT and MM.

Well, yea. I consider Tijuana as parte de San Diego. It's where I went to do bad shit before I was 21.
I could live with a move to TJ. But anywhere north or east of San Diego or Oceanside, no way.

I like the drafting TT has done. I think that injuries have played a big part in holding this team back, and I think we see the effects of the past two drafts play out well this season. I like his apparent philosophy of building through the draft and bringing in cost-effective FA to fill the holes. I think he is a very good talent evaluator, is extremely knowledgeable of the players in the league and I like the direction we are on. I am not a big fan of over-spending on FA. I expect him to bring in some very good players at positions of need and continue to upgrade the talent on the roster.

Those are the only things that matter. If I am a fan of the Chargers, then whatever the Chargers do matters. If I am not a fan, then whatever the Chargers do matters as much as a hemorrhoid on a Cheez-It. If the Chargers play for San Diego, I'm a fan. If the Chargers play for L.A., then I'll be looking for something else to do on Sundays.

All I know is that a big trade is going down! I'm not saying Rivers is necessarily getting traded but the Chargers will be involved in a big time trade that will probably include a few teams.

This might be a draft that we'll see 10 years down the road on the NFL network....This draft is heavy with WR's & RB's and there's a few other positions that have a promising potential young rising stars and Rookie Sensations. Yes I said it! I said Rookie Sensation... Future Stars
