Randy Gregory, DE, Nebraska as an Edge Rusher.
MJ usage causes him to drop out of the top 10 and "boring" New Orleans comment drops him past 13 and into our laps. Despite character issues, Chargers take a flyer on light weight OLB.

I think we take Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin.
I think Gurley will be gone by the time we pick.
I think McCoy needs a solid RB for his offense to work, and will like the potential home run hitter he gets with Gordon.
I'd *like* to see is go lineman first, RB second, but I don't think it will happen.
I am also scared to death of the history of Wisconsin RB's in the NFL.

Realistic choices
1. Danny Shelton
2. Randy Gregory
3. Malcolm Brown
4. Andrus Peat
5. Melvin Gordon
6. Todd Gurley
I love both running backs. I just see defensive line as a priority, and will make everyone else behind them better. I think good running backs will be available in the 2nd and 3rd round.

Alvin "Bud" Dupree, LB, Kentucky (if he lasts to pick 17)
Owamagbe Odighizuwa, LB, UCLA (if Dupree is gone, and assuming he checks out medically)
Our pass rush last year wasn't good, and that was with Dwight Freeney. Ingram and Attaochu both have shown promise, but both have had injury issues. A third pass rushing outside linebacker could also free up Ingram to be used elsewhere-- perhaps inside-- to generate pass rush on obvious passing downs. Both Dupree and Odighizuwa have size-- length and weight-- and can hold the point of attack, unlike some of the highly-touted edge rushers (Gregory, Beasley, Ray). We can get a running back and wide receiver later in this draft--both positions are deep. Rush linebacker is not-- if you want a good one, you'd better get him in the first round.
