Collins is not a suspect (yet). But Aaron Hernandez too are not a suspect at first, until further investigations and they found out more things.

I don't know how this is even an option. Gregory at worst will be drop into the middle rounds. Drugs addiction can be cure and not a felony. Collins, after the Aaron Hernandez fiasco, I would be shock if he'd be draft at all. Maybe someone will be crazy enough to sign him in undraft FA (OAK, Jerry Jones etc.), but even these possibilities are long shot.

We talk about murderer here. NE can't wait to cut Aaron Hernandez immediately after hearing about his involvement in the murder case. NE took the cap hit of 4 mil just to get rid of him. And he is a Probowler and one of the best TE in the game at the time. He team up with Gronk made NE 2-TE offense looks invincible. And they still get rid of him. So, I don't how you can acquire the unproven Collins at this point. Probably someone will waste a roster spot for him to test him out, but no one will waste any draft pick for him. I don't think OAK going to do that either.
