OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD

I think Gordon is going to make our OL and WR group look even better. We really had no threat in the run game last year with Mathews and Woodhead out...allowed them to play our WRs differently. I think Stevie Johnson and even Jones firm our WR core up enough to go with a real running threat from Gordon. I dont think WR is a high need.
I do think we need OG and then either DT/LB help badly. Im fine with either in the 2nd then the other in third. I can see us picking up a vet OG guy in cuts though that might shore up the Troutman spot or i think Ornberger is still out there and he is serviceable IMO.

Alright, I was flying all night and missed the draft.
Can someone please explain to me how( or for the more important matter, why!!!!) did we move up 2 spots in Round 1 to draft a running back?!?!?!?!?!
This team is so devoid of depth, we needed every pick we had. Yet, we must have given up something to move those 2 precious spots forward to draft a guy who won't have an opportunity to make an impact without better players up front( and a system guy at that!)
Initial reaction: stupid move!

I like the pick, but I still don't think the Chargers are going to be anything more than their usual 7-9 win team this season. And keeping that 4th-rounder wouldn't have changed that one bit. IMO, they blew it by not been more aggressive in FA; that's where they could - should - have made their move.
