    Sorry for going broken record.
OL are a safe pick there. Why should we draft a CB who may not see he field in the 3rd round whe we can get production on the OL or even WR? Still some good WRs on the board who will go early tomorrow.

Ok. But there is no freakin' way anyone could make that deduction based on your previous post.....as clear as mud.

Is that a yes? You think it's a "safe pick" a 3rd-round rookie would fix our current problems?

Out of desperation, we tried that midseason last year with Chris Watt. He got hurt, and, even when he played, our offensive line was terrible - especially up the middle where he played.

You have a point with Keenan Allen. He did help us almost immediately.

Before that - Brandon Taylor. Maybe we should have got a project that year.

Points in your favor - Aztecs Vincent Brown, Shareece Wright. Both Aztecs. Brown actually did us some good his first year.

Donald Butler not bad at first.

          Okay, you're right.

Look, Mager is going to be at best 5th on the CB depth chart. Thst borderline PS material. Do i thnk a 3rd round WR or OG could produce momre than that? Hell yes! There are some good WRs on the board and Tre Jackson is still there who is perhaps..... already better than Troutman. Better upside anyways.

I have a good feeling Ryan Carrethers will step up this year and be an great NT for the chargers. He played pretty well the chances he got last season, so lets see what he can do in year two. Kyle Williams all pro dt on Buffalo was a 5th rd pick, Geno Atkins all pro dt on bengals was a 4th rd pick. So Carrethers development might be on track to be a solid if not all pro player

an OL rookie won't be useful on Special teams, which is where most draft picks not starting play.

No point in arguing with a Boltjolt who thinks a 3rd round pick will be placed in the Practice Squad.
