My friends and family worry about me this time of the year. My expectations are reasonably high. Mostly worried about RB. I did not see a single WFT game so I have no idea what they have or lack. Always did like Riverboat Ron.

We re-built our IOL through FA. I think your DL is awesome... but can your DB's cover Keenan's precise routes...? Can your LB's cover RB's and TE's in the

My D definitely has there hands full dealing with Herbert and all the weapons your O has...Our success will be predicated on the pressure we put on Herbert, its as simple as that...

Your new rook Jamin Davis has all the speed, size, length, athleticism, and instincts to be an elite impact player, on the 2nd level, in both phases.
        How has he looked?

Nobody can really tell what any team has before the first game. FWIW, the over/under on the WFT wins is 8.5. The Chargers is 9.5 - not that this really means anything.

Rivera is a solid D coach, his 2020 WFT wasn't as good as Staley's #1 LAR D by a small margin.
In 2021 both WFT and LAC have the potential to be NFL #1 D. The personnel are there and the coaches are proven on D.

Clearly this sets the table for an exciting contest.

Both OLs have some questions but I like LAC's C & LT a lot. LAC's LG, RG, RT are an improvement lock over 2020.
Receivers & RBs based on 2020 are close.
QB- Herbert's elite talent provides an edge.
Special Teams (shudder) could be a difference maker. Staley & Co have made a point of ST improvement. So? LAC ST Don't suck as bad. We'll see.

Well said, the bottom line is this is 2 very talented teams about to play each other and the only clear cut edge I give my WFT is the coaching...

Ron's a very good D coach, so is Staley. Rivera clearly is the more experienced HC and a guy I like by the way.
Staley is an ascending star in the coaching ranks but unproven at HC. He's exciting and the players feel it. We'll see.

I agree. If WFT gets pressure, this will effect the game plan. Remember, Herbert handles pressure well... and can also move outside the pocket.

Was that his playing speed or his decision-making...?

Playing LB in the NFL (especially in coverage) is a learning experience. Your LB's will have their work cut out for them on Sunday.
