How good and confident is WFT’s OL against all the confusion and havoc Staley’s gonna bring?

    That’s the real question.
Allow me to add some real heft to this conversation by saying,

There's really no way of knowing what's going to happen. That's what playing the game is about.

I hope that clears things up.

    Jebus, when is kickoff?!?!?

This just in off the high speed sports wire! The Chargers are rumored to be entering the season with their highest impacy level in eight years! REACTION!

The impacy is real! Feel it, flow in it, slather it all over your bodies! Impacy washes all, makes new!

this thread’s self-life has morphed a couple good rushers into the ‘85 Bears. They ain’t the ‘85 Bears.

All the fluff about Fitz being the next coming of Moses … Moses-level franchise QBs do not get traded in their prime, ever. Teams NEVER let their franchise QB walk, much less give him away. Fitz has been around like 15 years, and is on his 8th team with a lifetime 82 rating. Fitz is not Moses. Meh.

6 teams last season put up 30+ points on your D, including the powerhouse Detroit Lions.

Dude, when the Detroit Lions put up 30 points on your defense and beat you, you have zero bragging rights about your defense.

I have no idea what will happen Sunday. Maybe the DLine of the WFT team dominates; maybe the Chargers OL is better and that helps the offense plus the changes Staley made on defense

But this is the one point that is true - Fitz is Fitz. He has made a career of being a very good back up QB. But like you said, there is a reason he is on his 8th team. He has limitations.

Oh wow -team was trailing 42 - 3 and Fitz got 21 fourth quarter points!!

I'm still trying to figure out why Telesco gave that contract to Bulaga last year, then doubled down by not parting ways with him this season. He had an injury history in Green Bay, and last season he played in fewer than 38 percent of the offensive snaps for the Bolts. Bulaga did help lure Corey Linsley to the Chargers, and will see if that pays any dividends. I can also understand that in this season's remake of the OL, dumping Bulaga, after releasing Trai Turner, wasn't prudent. But, darn, the guy always has some injury issue.

Last year with GUS as DC we gave up 29 points to Jax and 28 to the Jets. I expect things on defense to be vastly different and we have Derwin healthy.

Its called guaranteed money. After the season we probably part ways with him.
