Ekeler tore his hamstring last season, is it the same one? Sorry if it has been answered all ready. He is a pumped up little guy and may be too much so for his frame. That is the largest muscle in your body and can be a real issue at his position. Staley seems like the type to not take chances on player health. Opposite of letting Seau play with one arm or Harrison play when he could barely stand up just because they wanted to. If a team cannot win without one player, they are doomed.

The subtlety may be obscured but LT had to run like a rented mule his first year or so and scratch and claw for every yard before they improved the OL. Of course Kelly is not LT, i have eyes and all. But 113 yards on 36 carries is shit below Kelly’s rookie avg ypc, i think (no, don’t care enough to look for the calculator app lol).

We have seen very limited Kelly real game reps and they were behind the worst OL in the league. maybe that complete shit show got in his head and maybe Lynn got in his head even more. Maybe the coaches have seen he can be more decisive and instinctive with some moderately professional blocking in front of him and we just haven’t seen it.

Or maybe he’s JAG and never more. I dunno, he’s still a #4 on the depth chart until shown otherwise. I’d rather give Rountree any available reps.

This game is in the bag! WFT has a great front four but the rest of their team is mediocre. Our offense is way better than theirs.

In fact, I think all four of the AFC W teams will beat the WFT.
