Even though it is somewhat racist in modern viewing eyes the term Redskin really is synonymous with tough fighting warrior. I consider the term more of a slang term than an extreme derogatory term. Just call them the Washington Warriors and be done with it. I guess in this day in age if we're going to name after a cultural group we now need their express approval.

Warriors is perfectly fine. Its a positive statement. Guys - i get the visceral objection to a small band of activists forcing the name change of a team that has been around for decades and decades and most native Americans either don’t give a shit about it or maybe they like the name..

but this time the always-insulted grievance industry assholes are right. The blind squirrel tripped over a rare acorn. Just break it in two: RED SKIN. We saw how to beat the WFT front four during the Bucs post-season win. Get the ball out in 2.5 seconds. We do that and we'll win by 10 or more.

To me none of that matters if he cant make a FG. Ive seen nothing there to suggest he will be very successful. FG kickers need to be 80% and UP. He missed at least 2, maybe 3 in preseason.

I'll just leave it here with this. As a Native American I know lots of Native Americans that the Redskins are their team. I have never met one personally who was offended or upset over the name. The only ones I have seen upset are 2-3 people who run hundreds of twitter bots that are offended, oh and they are white not native American as well.

There is a lot to like about our kicker. Yes the stronger leg has a lot going for it, but if he kicks at a 70% clip then it means nothing. He is the one thing I am worried about going into this season.
