WFT vs Bolts Pre Game Discussion

No kidding. If Logan is their primary plan, they may not even get a FG. 35-0 with our starters resting with 5 min left in the half.

I recommend they keep the cool logo and call themselves Warriors or pick the historic tribe of Maryland DC area was. Unless they were wimpy corn farmers that always got beat up by tougher tribes, that is Or just break free and go a new direction, new logo, merch, revenue, etc.

I like Red Hogs. There’s NFL history for using that name as well.

I have been your typical internet ghost reading your board all week, and I have to say I love how excited you all are for your team. I couldn't let Redskins1 stand alone though, so let me add a second WFT voice here. Can't wait for the game, and to see how both teams show up. Love the early matchup for these two teams. I see big things for both teams. A few quick notes on why my WFT will win tomorrow and why they could lose:

The obvious - Our Dline will dominate your Oline. I'm not talking about Sweat/Chase at the ends, you will see a guy Matt Ionnaidis tomorrow, who will be huge. He was our best DL guy before he got injured, and he is a monster. The rotation of Allen/Payne/Settle/Ionnaidis will prove too much for your line so early in the season.

The shocking - the QB on the field with the better completion percentage last year is Fitzpatrick (68.1 to 65.1) the QB on the field who was better under pressure last year per nextgenstats(see link) - Fitzpatrick.

The tried and true - Coaching experience. Between Rivera and Jack Del Rio, our team's coaching staff has more experience at calling games then your whole staff combined

The reasons we can lose -
Fitzpatrick's INTs . No doubt if Fitztragic shows up, the burden will be on our defense not only to stop Herbert and his strength, but keep our team from imploding.
Our rookie St. Juste can't handle Mike Williams. He looks the role, but Mike Williams can make him look like a rookie.
Derwin James - He can really make Fitzpatrick look bad. If he does that, we will struggle.

Once more, Good luck to your team this year and hope we see a good, clean, injury free game.

Logan Thomas, 7th best TE last year with the following qbs - Haskins/Smith/Kyle Allen - A qb room that had the worst combined passer rating in the NFL.

Fitz had the 5th best ESPN QBR last season. Hate Fitz all you want, he is going to be a huge pain in your defense's butt tomorrow.
