I was okay with Ramona as a kid. I lived there in 1973 and '74. But when I recently visited my Mom there over Christmas (a couple years ago) I went for a morning walk (around 10-11 am) along H Street (my Mom lives on that street) and I was yelled at by this fricking banshee bitch from hell across the street out of her window that she was going to call the police on me...for fucking walking! Sure the fuck enough, here comes Ramona's finest rolling up asking me what was I doing in "my town". Yeah, that's exactly what "Cooter" - er, the Ramona cop, asked me. Fuck man. All I was doing was walking. On fucking Christmas!

So yeah, I have some issues with the place. ha

FWIW, I was joking about Cat Vomit Way. No such street name in Ramona. But it would be funny and easily memorable more importantly.

I'm from Clairemont Mesa/ Kearny Mesa in San Diego. Great place to grow up. 20 minutes from everything cool.

That's not to be confused with Claremont, which is east of L.A. and might be the smoggiest place in the nation.

No it's still there, not a hospital anymore.
