I knew that fumble was bound to happen. QBs don’t have the same ball security as RB when running between tackles.

You are happy with the Pipkins pick then. Every Chargers fan I know thought it was a reach at the time, and that Pipkins could have been had much later. Crosby wasn't a first or second round talent, so it's not really fair to say teams "passed" on him three times.

Yep...especially when those QB's launch themselves and DIVE headfirst into the pile, like Jackson does...totally inept ball security...like saying, "here I am, a punching bag...go ahead and see if u can punch the rock out...oops, there it goes!" Lame...at LEAST pull up and do a leg-first, second-base slide, u dope...

I never said I was happy with the Pipkins pick - I never even heard of the guy before we picked him. Clearly he hasn’t developed much, yet the coaching staff still seems to see enough in him to keep him on the 53 man roster, not even on the practice squad.

The point about Crosby was that we yes we passed on him, but so did everyone else - he wasn’t a sure thing at all and has developed.

You can go back and play the hindsight game with every team. We coulda had Tom Brady! Or Bakhtiari!

Unless you actually wanted the guy there before the draft, it's a pretty feeble exercise.

Maxx Crosby is a first-round talent, he just happened to be selected in the 4th round. Just goes to show you that even hundreds of professional scouts and other football experts are not infallible.
