I'm just gonna say it.... What a f****** pussy.
    Prediction:
    Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

I guess a lot could be read into this, but I really don't know what it means. Interesting timing for sure.

I like this move, actually....provided they find a way to stay in SD, of course.

Horrible timing at a minimum, however the CSAG announcement was supposed to be Wednesday.

We knew this move was going to happen, just didn't know when. Maybe Dean will be just focused on the stadium issues/construction. I'm sure that Robert Kraft doesn't deal with minutia, but maybe he could personally oversee game ball pressure.

Geez, the first thing that crossed my mind is - what, he doesn't want to be the one to announce the team is leaving?

Same first thought for me. We shall see what happens.

AG Spanos with the team business side and John Spanos with the actual football operations...these guys have been doing it for years now...even though Dean was the "face" of the franchise ownership...so does this really mean anything else then formal changing of guard to you guys?

I don't think this changes anything with the stadium issue. Dean is still the top dog and will decide what happens.

If this had happened 6 months ago or 6 months from now I wouldn't have thought twice about it since it has been long in the plans. It's just really odd that it was announced literally at the same time as the stadium plans were announced.

it would be the ultimate coward move to put your sons in the line of fire like that.
