          Hardly a complete player.

I can think of some other Chargers (Jamal, LoNeal, Sproles) that are far more deserving, outside the obvious (Rivers/Brees/Gates).
You just summed up Deion Sanders career.

Sanders could shut down any WR any Sunday or an entire side of the field.
While a self admitted situational tackler his cover and return skills are indisputable.

Deion didn't have to be. He was probably the best ever.

Cromartie wasn't even the best Chargers DB. I give Jammer the edge there.

Best 2 sport athlete ever as Bo was great in NFL but not best RB ever, Bo was so so in MLB .250 hitter as opposed to Deion a .263 hitter.
Totally agree....and yet, my point( and many others!) still valid. Couldn't/ wouldn't tackle.

Jammer was a quiet, invisible Outstanding Shut Down corner that doesnt get the credit he deserves....

Sanders was not a strong tackler, but would be on the short list for the best coverage CB in NFL history. Cromartie was a good player, but not close to the player Sanders was.

No, that does not sum up Deion Sanders' career. Sanders was arguably the best coverage CB in the history of the NFL. Cromartie was an above average CB. It is kind of like the difference between Tom Brady and Carson Palmer.

I know that a player like Cromartie is "eligible" and thats why he is on the list. But if you follow his career - he is not a HOFer so why is he even on some list. In baseball, if you don't get enough votes after year 1 of eligibility, you are done

I think its why I think the Golf Hall of Fame is a good one. And I get they can quantify things. But its solely based on wins and majors. Not a guy giving an effing powerpoint that might sway a voter. Or its not based on a person being a nice guy on TV (Tony Dungy comes to mind) or some other nonsense.
