1 -- times Seau appeared on the Pro Football Hall of Fame ballot.
2 -- Seau's all-time NFL ranking for games started by a linebacker, trailing only Clay Mathews, a fellow USC alum and former Brown, who had 248 starts to Seau's 243.
3 -- Players who primarily were Chargers and were elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. Seau joined Lance Alworth (1978) and Dan Fouts (1993).
