Longest complete pass by Chargers has increased 33% from Game 1 (12 yards) to Game 2 (16 yards). Things are looking up!Prediction:
Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

I watched the game on the NFL Network but muted the TV and listened to the Chargers radio play-by-play. I agree, Curtis Conway is a little underwhelming. OTOH though, Nick Hardwick is great. I love his insight into the blocking schemes etc. Concerning the game, several guys who IMO helped themselves were Dzubnar, Tyrell Williams, Philon and Emanuel (again), Mager, and of course, Lambo. It's looking like the step up in competition may not be too much for T. Williams. He dropped one pass but also made a couple of catches, forced a couple of holding or PI penalties and made a great catch on the sideline but got pushed out. The only problem is the WR competition is fierce. Austin Pettis looked good too but I think he'll be a victim of the numbers game at WR. Whatever happens he'll be on some team's roster this year. I also thought Craig Watts looked okay and I noticed he even took some snaps at RT in the 4th quarter. My guess is they'll try to put him on the practice squad for one more year. They'll also probably try to put T. Williams on the PS but that may be a risky proposition.

Dzubnar has had two good games. Last night he led the team with 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL. He seems to have great recognition skills. I expect him to make the PS. He's also out of Cal Poly SLO, so it's a huge jump for him to this level. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

SD 23 rushes for 46 yards. What kind of slop is that? I'd say BO is our #1 back right now. And that's pretty weak. Dreamus Smith was the back on that last drive and did a decent job of blocking the blitzers. We gotta get better. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
