The deep passing game is even more important in this game as the ability to have explosive scoring is one thing that separates the two teams.
A couple of drives featuring big plays, a couple of sustained drives and a FG should put us beyond what the Giants can accomplish as they have not scored 30 points this season.
However, if we spend too much time sucking away the clock with prolonged drives that may or may not produce points, that will serve to keep the Giants in the game, which would be unwise in my view.

Palmer likely to play more than a few snaps this game as per usual. Probably hasn’t had that many days of reps. Great timing having the Giants to add to his experience. The TE’s will probably see more passes their way than Palmer will. Don’t count out Herbert and Guyton’s chemistry, it’s pretty solid at times.
Other teams rumored to be taking extra precautions to prevent losing players to COVID. Chargers better also. COVID is affecting this season more that last, weird. This is the year Covid could influence SB entry AND outcome.
PS. Not meant to be discussion about Covid other than NFL players and teams impacted by it.Last edited by Caslon; 12-11-2021, 08:07 PM.

But some players just take a bit longer to grasp the game. Again, I look at Vincent Jackson. He was a 2nd round pick and had massive talent. But we didn't see it right away. Even without Allen (who by the way was ready as soon as he put on a Chargers jersey and was a rookie standout), Herbert is going to have enough horses on the field to power the offense to beat the Giants and won't necessarily need Palmer to be KA.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”
