Teo missed some plays. Yes. You always notice those. You never notice the plays he made correctly.

And Perryman is nowhere near as good as Butler or Teo... unless you count making a big hit your only criteria.

I don't think Perryman's "light is on" yet. I want our players to perform well as soon as possible, just like we all do, but every player has their own timetable that it takes them to "get it." He's got the talent, and the "thump" to be a killer ILB, but he needs a little more time. The game will slow down for him (in praying). Hopefully he'll need very little time, tho, the way Teo to played.

I'm hoping this is just an off game for Teo. However, he has much shorter leash imho, like someone else said...

I remember Te'o saying in his rookie year how much studying he had to do to learn the defense. I'm sure that's what Perryman is going through now. It will start to make sense and he'll become a force. He did have a good hit on special teams yesterday.

Cant say in agree with all of that. Pretty amazing that he played pretty well last season and he has a bad game and now the forum is ready to lynch him. Par for the coarse i guess.

Telesco also re-signed Butler to a big contract. Identifying the right inside linebackers doesn't seem to be our general manager's bag.

He was better last year than his rookie year, but that's not saying all that much.
I forgot to add he can't stay on the field to that list.
