Speaking of franchise LT, was this Slater’s worst game as a pro? He was constantly getting beat by Raiders defenders and had one or two holding penalties for the night as well.

The thing I have been feeling for the last several weeks is that we have several premiere guys. Bosa, Derwin, Allen, Ekeler, Slater and Herbert. Most of the rest of the roster is serviceable to good. But just about every spot (with the few exceptions above) we are (or should be) looking to upgrade.

Some guys are developing, like Samuel, Adderley, Storm and Pipkins. I am not trying to make a very comprehensive list, but this roster needs to get better.

Bosa, Allen, Ekeler, James, Linsley, Feiler, Williams, and a couple of other players are all getting older. This is the time to take advantage of the players the team has who are in their prime. TT has wasted many players and how he operates keeps the team settling for mediocrity. What is he doing to give people confidence that things will change or improve? The team is always a 9 wins team at best with him.

Calm down. The loss hurts. But this team is better than it was a year ago. Herbert is a bonafide stud. And I still believe in Staley. It's easier to be the pessimist in life and when shit doesn't work out, you can say, "I told you so. I knew it wouldn't work out."

I think it's better to have hope. I still think Staley can get us to the promised land.

Season ending thoughts:
1. All those ex-chargers the raiders had...why did we let them go. they can still play.
2. I don't feel as bad about this loss compared to the 14-2 Marty team loss. Reason...this team was not ready for prime time. Not consistent enough especially on defense.
3. I think the base is there. We need a big strong running back, and more players on defense. DT?

Most of all we need a new coach. Staley needs to go. Cannot have an idiot on the helm. His decisions are not sound.
