1. Wideouts--KA was the only decent one of the bunch. Floyd was talented, but injured a lot...same with DX...
2. O-line, especially Clary at G was a big weak spot. Depth was very poor--Willie Smith was a bottom of the barrel FA signing, Wiggins was a below average backup, Troutman and Schilling never panned out. Fluke was more or less okay his first year, but declined afterwards, and got kicked inside to G. Dunlap and Hardwick were solid.
3. D-line was kind of weak. Liuget and Reyes were the only solid players...after that, big talent drop-off
4. LB's--Ingram was solid, Teo was so-so, Butler was decent...English and Mouton were busts...Freeney a good pass rusher when healthy...about average, but poor depth...
5. DB's--Weddle was solid, Cromartie flashed at times, slacked other times...Stuckey was usually solid before he signed his fat extension...Gilchrist was okay, nothing special...never lived up to draft spot...Cox was a bust FA...Wright and Launchwhiffy just JAG's...overall not too bad here, but depth not all that great...
6. ST's--Novak was okay, kicked in low to mid 80%, about average or a bit below...Scifres decent punter...
Did TT do much to improve our O and D-lines over the years? IMHO, not enough...
