I am an occasional poster but a dedicated Powder Blues fanatic for years and a Charger fanatic since 1979. I log in every day for as long as I can find new and interesting posts.
Charger Roo has been one of my favorites with his interesting insights on the topics we are all here to discuss. I am a cancer survivor who everyday thanks the higher power for another day to log in to Powder Blues and keep my life interesting.

Chargeroo...if your reading this ol' fella...still have your jersey...favorite one...dont know exactly why I have always liked your posts...just always seemed like a dad out here...pointing out the sensible things...cooling everyone's jets...I respect that...and understand the fear of mortality...not for ourselves, I did the cancer thing too...especially with your faith...but for those you leave behind....Im glad, reading this thread, that you will eventually leave many fellow fans behind who will miss you...and remember...regardless of faith...it's still a damn fine thing to know, when it ends...I hope you take that with you when its time.

I am a cancer survivor too and I came to that same realization. I do not fear death for myself but it breaks my heart to know the pain it will bring to my wife.

Dear Lord - Thank you for the strength, grace, kindness and gentle humility you’ve taught us all through your love of Roo. He is leaving such a positive impact among the TPB members; the lessons he shared will live on through you long after you bring him home. Give his family the strength and peace to cherish and rejoice in his arrival to your kingdom, for ann earthly loss is otherwise not always easy to understand and accept at first.

When (if invited) I arrive to your kingdom, please introduce me to Roo. I will want to finally meet this important man in person.
