Yes - they would have had the lead, the ball and all the momentum. The difference between winning and losing is so small - as Charger fans are so painfully aware of.

I dislike both teams so I didn't care who won but found myself rooting more for the Niners.

Rams went all in spending like fools and hardly no draft picks and so far it's paying off.

So for whatever reason here is the memory I have today. That the Chargers with Fouts and Co got -55 in Cincy the freezer bowl...and instead of the Chargers playing San Francisco, it was the Bengals. Just like this year. I always wondered if the Bolts could have beat that Joe Montana team.
