Im thinking if Verrett is covering Brown exclusively hes our lead CB. The inability to create run lanes is obviously a huge problem. But you have to be able to do something else at a high level. And when you are backed up inside the 10 on a bunch of drives it just makes sense to pass more. Stop running so much on first down. Its like Reich feels that it has to be done. I think hes severely limited in his knowledge of plays and he also dosnt understand the personnel we have. You have to play to your teams strengths. You have to be able to devise a plan that gets maximum production out of what you have. Yet he continued to draw up runs straight up thinking it would be different. It was insanity. I felt bad for Gordon. They need to figure out what they can and cannot do with the players they have and go full speed with what works. Gordon needs to hold onto the fucking ball.

The OL is killing us. The penalties they commit are killing us. There is no run game and Rivers is under pressure often. Every draft pick this year should be on the trenches. If TT gets cute ill fucking hate him.

I've actually come around to thinking Reich and his playcalling aren't so bad.

Our passing offense looked pretty good until Hairston got hurt.

The results have been pretty lukewarm but it's hard for me to grade the job he is doing do to the sheer number of injuries we have had. The first part of last season was the last time the offensive line was healthy and Rivers was an MVP candidate. As the line disintegrated, the offense slowed down and Rivers got smacked around. The line is somehow more injured this year. I don't think he is as bad as some and I'd like to see what he can do with an even average healthy line.
