Finally have a nice power complement to Ekeler. And we get him in the 4th round. Awesome!

Guys, don't need to be worried about his speed! He's been drafted to run between the tackles, to keep D's honest.
Really provides balance to the O.
        Solid pick.

I see Arian Foster in his game.

More of a Ty Chandler fan personally but I get the pick. He can replace one of the other 2 slow RB on the roster.

This is the right back to pair with Ekeler.

I love this pick, he’s ready to play now, already accomplished pass blocker, already accomplished pass catcher, really nice vision…

                I LOVE THIS PICK!!!

Chaincrusher must be doing cart wheels right now: a consensus 3rd round pick.

This is going to be my favorite pick in this draft. I think Spiller is going to be our Nick Chubb. Chubb is not fast either, but he is one of the most dominating RBs in the NFL with his size, power, and ability to make defenders miss. This is going to be Spiller's game in the NFL. I so look forward to watching him play, and the tandem of he and Ekeler.

Arguably the most talented all-around RB in the class. Disappointing pre-draft process sunk his stock. Does everything well and has a feature-back frame. Natural receiver who can contort his body to find the football downfield. Only thing missing is breakaway speed. Fun addition. (Chris Trapasso)

                    Rating: 83.17 (Long-term starter)

                    Pro Comparison: Miles Sanders

                    Strengths:

Big, thick feature back with dynamic cutting skills, high-end vision and contact balance. Very capable hands. Made difficult grabs down the field during his college career and can handle typical out-of-the-backfield duties. Stop-and-start skill is that of a scat back. His elusiveness is actually more impressive than his contact balance, but he rarely goes down on first contact. Often had to sneak through tiny cracks between the tackles. Can make defenders miss immediately after receiving the handoff. Awareness is great. Has the eyes and flexibility to do it. Amazing how he can find creases in the defense at his size.

                    Weaknesses:

Long speed leaves a lot to be desired. Not as explosive as some of the other top-tier backs in this class.

                    Accolades:
                    • 2021: AP All-SEC second team
                    • 2021: Fifth in SEC in rush yards (1,011)

Do you see us drafting Chandler as well? I would love it. Chandler, Ek, and Spiller would be great depth. It would keep Ek fresh.

I think my initial objection to Spiller was that he was touted early to be the best back in the class, and he was obviously not.
He had a 2nd round type grade back then.

It tainted my opinion of him.
