He was the guy I was expecting sans a RT along with Fox, Looking forward to a lot of dime defense with Derwin in the box as long as that scheme is good enough against the run.
If Callahan stays healthy (big if) and Woods pans out we can say bye to Hall and Campbell. Might be the best way to play KC and Vegas especially.
It is crystal clear now why Kyzir was not retained and no LBs were drafted once we got Reeder.
DL Johnson-Otito-SJD
OLB Mack-Bosa
ILB Derwin
CB JC-ASJ-Davis
S Adderley-Brooks
Third and long Tillery time
I can’t imagine playing the 3 DTs at the same unless its goal line. That would mean a 5 man rush every down.
Also more seriously when the Chiefs run empty sets with MVS-Juju-Kelce-Moore-Hardman (and they will) we need to be able to match up. They wore down our depleted sexondary last year week 14.
We shall have many flavors of DBs, to cover everyone from Courtland Sutton to Mecole Hardman.

this signing goes against the pattern this offseason to get younger and healthier…
