yes, both are winnable but also very losable..... but it really hurts to have to travel for a thursday night game in a super loud stadium against the well coached division winner for last several years.... most road teams lose those thursday night games ....

I do too. Th weather potentially could still be good. The game in 2018 the weather was good in Cleveland. It came in week 6. This year it takes place in week 5.Originally posted by Parcells View PostI do really like getting Cleveland in week 5. Hopefully Watson gets at least a six game suspension. I have a hard time thinking it won’t be at least that. It’s a REALLY bad look for the NFL.

You know there is a strong possibility that is exactly what happens right? It’s how we roll.Originally posted by 21&500 View PostI keep think about how much it would help to at least clinch a playoff spot before having to win IN denver week 18.
Can't leave it up to one game with the amount of upgrades we made this offseason.

Yes. I can't imagine the national and local media reactng to Herbert not in the playoffs for his first 3 years.Originally posted by Boltdiehard View Post

It won't matter if it was a bad call, botched snap, or injuries, that just can't happen.
I could see Staley potentially fired in response.
So important to go at least 1-1 through KC
Sorry for mount saint hellensing on y'all

Well, it's the NFL. We split with our Div opponents with a mediocre- lousy LAC D last year, so there's that.Originally posted by Caslon View PostDaunting schedule. This years schedule is no cakewalk. This year defines Staley’s 2nd year.
AFCS has some competition, nothing special.
NFCW, LAR, Ari, SF is tough.
Mia, Cle, Atl - meh.
If we play at or near our apparent talent level, we're a playoff team.
I agree that it's on Staley. He (with TT's cooperation) built what we're going with.

We are favored vs Jax & Sea, at Hou & Cle.Originally posted by Maniaque 6 View PostIf the Chargers win 3 at home against VEG, JAX, DEN and SEA
And if they win 2 at KC, HOU and CLE
They will be in the driver seat at the bye.
IMO should win vs LVR & Den.
50/50 at KC - It'll be tough going to Arrowhead on Thurs after LVR on Sun.

I feel the team should be ready to lace em up against any team. They won’t win 17, just because no one does. but there isn’t a game they can’t win. I’m ok going to KC on an early Thursday. Team won’t be worn from the season grind yet, gets Arrowhead during great early fall weather. We added some vet depth pieces to solve our biggest weaknesses and they know how to play, KC is relying on some rookies solving some of their biggest holes.
it just a working theory as of now … still fleshing it outJustin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...
