SuperCharged, I've been thinking about you since your post yesterday. I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to add to what I wrote yesterday that it is important to stay motivated. Stay motivated to work toward full recovery and make the life changes necessary to ensure there is no repeat episode. Best.

Good luck with your recovery. Use that old motivation from when you were competing to beat this thing. Listen to your doctors. Take the meds. 5 stents in me from 11 years ago. Still going strong. You can too.

Hey SC…a little late in catching this. Glad you are on a good path. Sounds like you caught it without having a major stroke which to me sounds huge for kicking this thing in the ass. Knowing you need to change is 80% of the issue to keep something like this at bay. Make the changes, do the work and it sounds like a very good outlook for you…if only football was an easy a formula to win the Superbowl!
You may have more down days each week than good but strive each week to meet some small goal and keep track of those…write down your goals with your PT. Conquer it one day at a time and you will see your improvement. Find some good things you love to also give you a break from it to….I know Charger related news is great therapy for me.
If you need somebody to chat with or need an accountability partner id be glad to chat SC…always good to meet great people in this world. PM me and lets connect.

Im very weak on my right leg. Typing is very difficult with my right hand. Mistakes everywhere. ;I don 't know if anyone has any good info that would help. But I understand I am going to have a while before i get my balance back through physical therapy.
Im pretty depressed right now. I have never felt so helpless in my life!
