Expanding the playoffs was nothing more than a stupid money grab by owners and the league. The best teams shouldn’t even have to deal with sudden upstarts who got in with a much less successful season and just happen to catch 111 win teams in a temp slump. It just waters down the whole idea of “the postseason.” The cream of the crop should play the cream of the crop after the regular season ends.

I think it was needed. Just do it right. The NFL let's wildcard teams in and we love it. It's no different if a football team gets hot near the end.
So are you saying if we make the playoffs as a wild card, you won't be interested?

You do know why they seed the teams the way they do right? #1 seed plays the number 6 seed, number 2 seeds play the #5 seed......it's to weed out the lessor teams but sometimes that don't happen.

Don't want to get too far ahead of myself...but the Phillies look absolutely terrifying right now.

This elimination game for the Dodgers is going to be where they are at their most dangerous. Just so much star power. But I wouldn't have anyone else on the mound for us than the hometown kid.

Looks like a Dodger fan getting a disguise to sneak into the game. haha.

Read in the paper there were not many Dodger fan because to buy tickets online you had to put in your zip code. L.A. zip codes were denied tickets.
